Guanlin Town, belonging to Yixing City, Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, is located in the northwestern part of Yixing City, bordering on the lake in the east, connected with Gaocheng Town in the southeast, adjoining with Xushe Town in the south, bordering with Yangxiang Town and Xinjian Town in the west, and bordering with Huanghuanli Town in the Wujin District of Changzhou City in the north, with the people's government of the town being 1,000 km away from the people's government of Yixing City, and with an area of 124 sq km, and a household population of 70,752 as of the end of 2019. In the ninth year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (1883), Guanlin Township was set up, belonging to Yixing County; in January 2004, Fengyi Township (at the end of 1994, Fengyi Township was abolished and set up as a township) was merged into Guanlin Township. As of June 2020, Guanlin Township has 2 communities and 18 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the township's people's government stationed at No. 8 Park Road in Guanlin Community. As of the end of 2019, Guanlin Township has 1,212 industrial enterprises, of which 153 are above scale, and 54 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with business areas of more than 50 square meters.
