Yangxiang Town, belonging to Yixing City, Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, is located in the northwestern part of Yixing City, bordering Guanlin Town to Linjin Dang in the east, Xushe Town in the south, Daitou Town and Shanghuang Town in Liyang City in the west, and Xinjian Town and Rulin Town in Jintan City in the north, with the people's government of the town being 20 km away from the people's government of Yixing City, with a regional area of 86.42 sq km, and a household population of 46,827 as of the end of 2019.
In the ninth year of Qing Guangxu (1883), it was called Yangxiang Town; in February 2004, Xinfang Town (in 1996, Xinfang Township was abolished and established as a town) was incorporated. As of June 2020, Yangxiang Town has 2 communities and 16 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town's people's government is located at No. 168 Zhongqiao Road, Yangxiang Community.
As of the end of 2019, Yangxiang Town has 175 industrial enterprises, of which 18 are above scale, and 25 general stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
