Dalun Town, belonging to Jiangyan District, Taizhou City, Jiangsu Province, is located in the southeastern part of Jiangyan District, east to the East Jianghuanghe River and Hai'an County Yazhou Town, south to Jiangyan Town, west to Gugao Town and Liangxu Town, and north to Baimi Town, with an administrative area of 55.21 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, the registered population of Dalun Township is 39,513.
In the thirty-first year of the Republic of China (1942), it was Dalun Township and belonged to Dalun District; in October 1999, Dalun Township was abolished and established as a township; in March 2000, Yungang Township was incorporated. As of June 2020, Dalun Township has 2 communities and 15 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township people's government is located in Dalun Village.
