Jiangyan Town, belonging to Jiangyan District, Taizhou City, Jiangsu Province, is located in the southeastern part of Jiangyan District, adjacent to Taixing City, Hai'an County and Rugao City, with its center located at latitude 32°22′6.62″N, longitude 120°14′24.95″E. It is a large agricultural town in the old revolutionary area of Huangqiao, and is the birthplace of the first red soviet power in Central Jiangsu Province. Jiangzhi Town has a total area of 65.05 square kilometers (2017), under the jurisdiction of 2 communities, 17 administrative villages; a total population of 44,822 (2017).In 2014, Jiangzhi Town township realized a gross regional product of 1.992 billion yuan.
