Qingyuan Town, belonging to Qingyuan District, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the central north of Qingyuan District, the district government town, adjacent to the north of Baoding City, Lianchi District, surrounded on all sides of the city of Qingyuan. East and stone bridge town border, south and north store township as a neighbor, west of the white group town, north of Lianchi district five Yao township, Jiaozhuang township. The town people's government is stationed in the four villages of South Daren. The total area of the jurisdiction is 46.9 square kilometers, with a total household population of 43,174 (2018). Qingyuan Town was named after the location of the Qingyuan District Government.In 1953, Nandaran Township was established.In August 1958, Nandaran People's Commune was established.In May 1984, it was reorganized as Nandaran Township.In July 1984, it was reorganized as Qingyuan Town. As of October 2019, Qingyuan Town has 11 neighborhood committees and 15 village committees. There are Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway, Cangyu Expressway, Provincial Highway Baoheng Highway, Beijing-Guangzhou High Speed Railway, and Baoqing Highway in transit. In 2017, the total industrial output value above scale in Qingyuan Town amounted to 7.5 billion yuan, and the total agricultural output value accomplished 208 million yuan. The number of enterprises totaled 952, with 12,200 employees, including 181 industrial enterprises, 18 above scale. The per capita net income of farmers reached 14,118 yuan.
