Qingyuan District, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the central part of Hebei Province, north of Lianchi District, Xushui District, south of Wangdu County, Bono County, west of Mancheng District, east of Anxin County, Goyang County, Li County. Since ancient times, it has been called "neighboring three passes in the north and connecting nine provinces in the south". Geographic coordinates are located between 38°10′~40°00′ north latitude and 113°40′~116°20′ east longitude. The total area is 869 square kilometers. As of the end of 2022, the resident population of Qingyuan District was 623,400 people, Qingyuan District has jurisdiction over 13 towns, 5 townships and 1 economic development zone, resident Qingyuan Town. Qingyuan District has a long history, in Dongzang Village, Dawangting unearthed Yangshao culture site artifacts. in May 1986, Qingyuan County was assigned to Baoding City County until April 2015. on May 8, 2015, the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the State agreed to abolish the Qingyuan County to set up the Qingyuan District. The area is crossed by the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway, Cangyu Expressway, Baohang Highway, Baoxin Highway and Beijing-Guangzhou High-Speed Railway.On May 20, 2006, the Haha cavity (Qingyuan and Qingxian counties in Hebei) was approved by the State Council to be included in the list of the first batch of national intangible cultural heritages. In 2022, the gross regional product of Qingyuan District will complete 16.62 billion yuan, the value-added of industry above scale will complete 3.16 billion yuan, fixed asset investment will complete 5.65 billion yuan, general public budget revenue will complete 1.608 billion yuan, total retail sales of consumer goods will complete 5.85 billion yuan, and the per capita disposable income of urban and rural residents will reach 40,678 yuan and 24,761 yuan, respectively.
