Beiguoyuan, a township under the jurisdiction of Fuping County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the south of Fuping County, bordering Qicun Township of Quyang County to the east, Oral Township of Xingtang County to the southeast, Chengnanzhuang Township to the west, and adjoining Fuping Township and Wanglinkou Township to the north. The jurisdiction has a maximum distance of 19 kilometers from east to west and 15 kilometers from north to south, with a total area of 159.47 square kilometers.At the end of 2018, the former Beiguoyuan Township had a total household population of 23,701. In July 1961, Beiguoyuan Commune was established.In February 1984, it was changed to Beiguoyuan Township.On December 31, 2020, Fuping County abolished Beiguoyuan Township and established Beiguoyuan Township. As of June 2020, the former Beiguoyuan Township has 27 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township's people's government is located in Cuijiazhuang Village. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of the former Beiguoyuan Township was 86.51 million yuan. The total financial income was 5.332 million yuan, an increase of 6.3% over the previous year.In 2018, the former North Orchard Township had 150 industrial enterprises, of which 2 were above the scale, and 42 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
