Jianning County, Sanming City, Fujian Province, under the jurisdiction of the county, the South Tang Dynasty in the first year of Zhongxing (958) set up the county, located in northwestern Fujian Province, located in the middle of the Wuyi Mountains, east of Taining County, south of Mingxi County, Ninghua County, northwest of Jiangxi Province, Nanfeng County, Guangchang County, Lichuan County border.
