Broussonetia Township, belonging to Zherong County, Ningde City, Fujian Province, is located in the western part of Zherong County, bordering Chengjiao Township and Dongyuan Township in the east, neighboring Fuan Shangbaishi Township in the west, bordering Fuxi Township and Huangbai Township in the south, and adjoining Yingshan Township in the north, with the People's Government of the Township 10 km away from the city of Zherong County, and the total area of the region being 48.52 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, the household population of Broussonetia Township was 11,401. In the twenty-fourth year of the Republic of China (1935), it was once set up as Broussonetia Township; in October 1984, the commune was abolished and the township was restored and designated as Brousetia Township. As of October 2021, Broussonetia Township has 15 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township people's government is located in Brousetia Village 1.
