Heping Town, belonging to Shaowu City, Nanping City, Fujian Province, is located in the southwestern part of Shaowu City, adjoining Chengjiao Town, Dabugang Town, and Longhu Town of Taining County to the east and southeast, Guilin Township and Xiaojiafang Township to the south and southwest, Jinkeng Township to the west and northwest, and Yanshan Township to the north, with an administrative area of 123.75 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Heping Township had a household population of 20,927. During the Tang Dynasty, it was called Di Jin Li. in September 1984, Heping Commune was abolished and Heping Town was established.
