Baysha Town has a superior geographic location, 49km from Longyan City, is the eastern gate of Xinluo District, convenient transportation, the original provincial highway Fu three lines running through the whole territory, is an important logistics distribution center in Longyan. In February 2010 was included in the provincial level, one of the first batch of small town comprehensive reform and construction of pilot towns. The total area of the town is 425.88km2, accounting for about one-sixth of the district's territory.
