Xinluo District, belongs to Longyan City, Fujian Province. It is located in the southwest of Fujian Province. It is connected to Zhangping City in the east, Shanghang County in the west, Liancheng County and Yong'an City in the north, Nanjing County in the southeast, and Yongding District in the southwest, with a total area of 2,678 square kilometers. As of 2022, Xinluo District had a household population of 621,000 people. As of June 2023, Xinluo District has 10 streets and 10 towns under its jurisdiction. In the 24th year of the Tang Kaiyuan era (736), Xinluo County was established. In the first year of Tianbao (742), it was renamed Longyan County.
