Hetian Town, belonging to Changting County, Longyan City, Fujian Province, is located in the central part of Changting County, adjacent to Nanshan Town in the east, bordering with Tufang Town and Maotian Town in the south, bordering with Cevu Town in the west, and connecting with Xinqiao Town in the north, and is 21 kilometers away from the urban area of Changting, with a total regional area of 315.8 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Hetian Town had a household population of 73,358.
In 1949, the fifth district was established; in 1984, Hetian Commune was changed to Hetian Town. As of June 30, 2020, Hetian Town has 31 administrative villages under its jurisdiction; the town's people's government is located in Hajie Village.
