Tingping Township, Fujian Province, Fuzhou City, Minhou County under the jurisdiction of the township, is located in the northern part of Minhou County, east of Luoyuan County, Huokou She Township border, south of Dahu Township, west of Minqing County under the Zhuhu Township connected to the north of Gutian County Zhuo Yang Township neighbors. The administrative area covers 217 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Tingping Township had a household population of 36,526.
In May 1958, Xuefeng District was decomposed into three townships, Tingping, Dahu, and Yangli.In August 1958, it was renamed Tingping Commune.In July 1984, the commune was abolished and established as a township. As of June 2020, Tingping Township has 25 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. The People's Government of Tingping Township is located at No.2, Li Chu, Tingping Village.
