Dahu Township, Fujian Province, Fuzhou City, Minhou County under the jurisdiction of the township, is located in the northern part of Minhou County, east and Luoyuan County, Huokou Township, Jinan District, Rixi Township junction, the southern part of the town adjacent to the Jingxi Township, Baisa Township, the western part of the township, Yangli Township, the northern part of the Tingping Township. The administrative area covers 305.81 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Dahu Township had a household population of 31,884.
During the Tang Dynasty, Dahu belonged partly to Houguan County and partly to Min County.In September 1964, the district was abolished to become a commune.In July 1984, the commune was abolished and the township structure was restored. As of June 2020, Dahu Township has 23 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. The People's Government of Dahu Township is located at No.91, Dahu Village.
