Linjiang town, belonging to the Kaiju District, Chongqing, is located in the southwest of Kaiju District, southeast and Nanmen Town, Changsha Town border, southwest and Tieqiao Town, Nanya Town than neighboring, northwest and Zhonghe Town border, northeast and Zhuxi Town, JiuLongShan Town connected to the people's government of the Kaiju District, 18 km away from the location of the people's government of the Kaiju District, the region has a total area of 123 square kilometers. During the Song Dynasty in the North and South, Xinpu County was set up, and a lieutenant's office was set up in Linjiang; in October 1992, the district was withdrawn, and Linjiang Township was formed from the former Lindong Township, Star Township, Changqing Township and Linjiang Township.
