Park Overview
The Yongchuan High-Tech Industrial Development Zone is a national high-tech zone approved by the State Council in February 2018. Located 55 kilometers from downtown Chongqing and just 8 kilometers from the planned Chongqing Bishan Airport, it enjoys a prominent geographical advantage. The park boasts a well-developed comprehensive transportation network, adjacent to Yongchuan South Railway Station and surrounded by the Third Ring Expressway and the Jiuyong Expressway. It is home to the first deep-water port on the upper reaches of the Yangtze River (Zhutu Port) and serves as a key functional node within the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle and Chongqing’s New Urban Area. It plays a vital role in driving the economic and social development of both the Chongqing metropolitan area and Yongchuan.
The spatial layout follows the “One Zone, Three Parks” model, comprising the Fenghuang Lake, Sanjiao, and Gangqiao clusters. The urban development boundary covers approximately 61.09 square kilometers, with planned industrial land totaling about 36.11 square kilometers. Currently, approximately 24.08 square kilometers of industrial land has been developed, leaving about 12.03 square kilometers of industrial land available for development.
In terms of manufacturing.Yongchuan High-Tech Zone follows an overall spatial layout of “One Core, Two Wings,” focusing on the district’s “3322” modern industrial development system and striving to build a modern manufacturing base. It has currently formed an industrial development pattern centered on intelligent, connected new energy vehicles, motorcycles and their components, and new materials, with distinctive features in consumer goods manufacturing, electronic information, and high-end equipment. By 2025, a cumulative total of 1,150 enterprises will have settled in the zone, including 282 industrial enterprises above designated size.
