Mala Township, Qianjiang District, Chongqing, is located at 108°51′ east longitude, 29°17′ north latitude, the southeast corner of Qianjiang District, 42 kilometers away from the main city. It is adjacent to Youyang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County's Fine Sand Township in the east, Jindong Township in the south, Maushui Township in the west, and Wuli Township in the north, with a width of 14.5 kilometers from east to west and a length of 11 kilometers from north to south. The town area is 91 square kilometers. There are Tujia, Miao, Han three nationalities living in the territory of mixed, common life and reproduction. Mala town has four levels of highway and Qianjiang main city contact, and realized the road village, the town government resident lotus flower residential committee. 2006 Mala town was included in the second batch of Chongqing Municipal "central town" construction.
