Anping Township, Fengjie County, Chongqing Municipality, is located on the south bank of the Yangtze River, located in the heart of the Three Gorges Reservoir of the Yangtze River, 38 kilometers from the county seat. The shoreline of the reservoir is 30 kilometers long, and the seat of the township government is 20 kilometers east of Fengjie County. It is adjacent to Yongle Township in the east, connected with Xinmin Township, Wuma Township and Jiagao Township in the south, bordering Longdong Township of Yunyang County in the west, and facing the Yangtze River in the north, with Zhuyi Township and Kangping Township across the river. The township has a large passenger terminal and four natural docking points, up and down to Wanzhou and Yichang passenger ship berthing, a large mobile population, nearly 50,000 people travel every year, A high area of the volume of people, most of the volume of goods also pass through here.
