Zhanpu Town is located in the west of Fengdu County, 10 kilometers away from the county town. It has 7 administrative villages: Baishui, Qingyun, Yanzi, Shiping, Zhongping, Chun'an and Ma'an. The town government is stationed in a group of Baishui Village. Transportation to the Yangtze River shipping, Fulfeng highway transit, Chongqing along the river highway transit. 1949 set Zhan Pu township, 1958 to change the commune, in 1983 to restore the township, built the town in 1994. 1997, an area of 31.8 square kilometers, population of 10,000 people, jurisdiction over the white water, Pu Zi, Shiyan, Qingyun, Ma'an, dry slopes, Xintian, in the ping, Chun'an, the big earth dam of the 10 administrative villages.
