Niudaokou Town, belonging to Baodi District of Tianjin, is located at the northwestern edge of Baodi District, bordering Xianghe County and Sanhe City of Hebei Province in the northwest, and Jixian County in the north, across the river, and 10 kilometers away from Baodi urban area, with a total area of 69 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Niudaokou Town had a household population of 50,133. In 1958, Zhaogezhuang Township was established, and changed to Zhaogezhuang Commune in the same year; in 2001, Zhaogezhuang Township and Niudaokou Township were abolished, and Niudaokou Town was established by merger. As of June 2020, Niudaokou Town has 23 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is located in Niudaokou Village. As of the end of 2019, Niudaokou Town has 126 industrial enterprises, of which 5 are above scale, and 83 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
