Baodi District, part of Tianjin Municipality, is located in the north of Tianjin, in the northern part of the North China Plain, at the southern foot of the Yanshan Mountains, neighboring Yutian County and Ninghe District to the east and southeast, and Ninghe District and Wuqing District to the south and southwest. West and northwest of Xianghe County, Sanhe City connected. In the twelfth year of the Jin Dynasty (1172), Baodi County was established by dividing Xianghe County to take the meaning of "Ru Di Ru Jing" from the Book of Songs. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, it was known as "the largest county in the eastern part of the city" and "better than any other county", and in the Republic of China, it was listed as one of the eight counties in the eastern part of the country. It has a warm temperate semi-humid continental monsoon climate. The four seasons are distinct, the average annual temperature is 11.6℃, and the annual precipitation is 612.5 millimeters. In 2022, the gross regional product of Baodi District was 44.412 billion yuan, basically the same as the previous year.
