Zhangjiawo Town, belonging to Xiqing District of Tianjin, is located in the western part of Xiqing District, connected with Jingwu Town in the east, bordering Duliuzhi River in the south and Jinghai District, relying on the Beijing-Shanghai Railway in the west, and bordering the Workers' and Peasants' Allied Farms in the north, and is 9 km away from the city center of the city, with the total area of the region of 63.33 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, the household population of Zhangjiawo Town was 49,714.
In 1964, it was Zhangjiawo People's Commune; in 1994, it was changed from Zhangjiawo Township to Zhangjiawo Township. As of June 2020, Zhangjiawo Township has 14 communities and 18 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.
As of the end of 2019, Zhangjiawo Town has 287 industrial enterprises, including 50 above scale, and 53 general stores or supermarkets with business area over 50 square meters.
