Yangliuqing Town, belonging to Tianjin Xiqing District, is the seat of Xiqing District Government and the political, economic and cultural center of the district. Located in the northwestern part of Xiqing District, it extends to Zhongbei Town and Yangliuqing Farm in the east, Zhangjiawo Town in the south, Xingkou Town in the southwest, Wangqingtuo Town in Wuqing District in the northwest, and Beichen District in Tianjin City in the north, and is 1.7 kilometers away from the People's Government of Xiqing District, with a total area of 65.49 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Yangliuqing Town has a household population of 96,388.
In the second year of Jin Zhenyou's reign (1214), the Liukou Inspection was set up, and "Liukou Town" was established; in October 1949, it was called Yangliuqing Town. As of June 2020, Yangliuqing Town has 17 communities and 25 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the town's people's government stationed at No. 28 Liukou Road.
As of the end of 2019, Yangliuqing Town has 566 industrial enterprises, of which 40 are above scale, and 18 general stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
