Panzhuang Town, belonging to Ninghe District, Tianjin City, is located in the western part of Ninghe District, adjacent to Datangzhuang Town and Erwangzhuang Town of Baodi District in the north and Shangmatai Town of Wuqing District in the south, and bordering with Zaojia Town and Beihuaidian Town in the south. To the east, it borders with Tawarakou Town, Xiaohaibei Town of Tangshan Lutai Economic and Technological Development Zone, and to the west, it borders with Xiditou Town of Beichen District with the Beijing Sewage River and Yongding New River, with an administrative area of 114.15 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Panzhuang Town has a household population of 32,803.
In ancient times, it was a post station; in the sixth year of Ming Yongle (1408), Panzhuang Township was established; in 2001, Dajiazhuang Township was abolished and incorporated into Panzhuang Township. As of June 2020, Panzhuang Township has 17 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.
