Ninghe Town, part of Ninghe District, Tianjin, is located in the northern part of Ninghe District, neighboring Miaozhuang Town and Banqiao Town to the east, Lianzhuang Town to the south, connecting with Dongxiatuo Town to the west, and bordering with Baomen Township of Baodi District to the north, while in the northeast, it is separated from Fengtai Township and Chaoluowo Township of Yutian County, Hebei Province across the Jijie Canal, with an administrative area of 83.19 square kilometers. As of 2019, Ninghe Town has a household population of 22,046.
In the twentieth year of the Republic of China (1931), it was the first district; in 1984, Ninghe Town was established. As of June 2020, Ninghe Township has 27 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township's people's government is located in the third village of Ninghe.
In 2019, there are 22 industrial enterprises in Ninghe Township, including 1 above scale, and 20 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with business area over 50 square meters.In July 2020, the National Sanitation Association decided to name Ninghe Township as a national sanitary township in the 2017-2019 cycle.
