Lutai Town (revoked), belonging to Ninghe District, Tianjin, is located in the southeast of Ninghe District, adjacent to the Jingshan Railway in the east, connected to Hangu, Binhai New Area in the south, adjacent to Dabeijiangu Town in the west, and connected to Lianzhuang Town in the north, with an administrative area of 62.86 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Lutai Town had a household population of 118,511.
In 1980, Lutai Commune was withdrawn to build Lutai Town; in 2020, Lutai Town was abolished, and Lutai Street and Qiaobei Street were set up with the Jijian Canal as the boundary.At the end of 2016, Lutai Town was under the jurisdiction of 30 communities and 37 administrative villages.
