Pujin Street, belonging to Minhang District, Shanghai, is located in Minhang District on the east bank of the Huangpu River, east to Puxing Highway, south to the village boundary of Fengshou Village and Tingzi Village, west to the Huangpu River, and north to the boundary of Pudong New District. The area under the jurisdiction of Pu Jin Street is 23.99 square kilometers. As of the end of 2020, the resident population of Pujin Street is about 153,900 people.
Pujin Street used to belong to Pujiang Town, which is a "separated street". On July 2, 2015, Pujin Street was established, named after Pujin Road, the main north-south axial road that runs through the center of the new street. As of October 2021, there are 23 communities and 12 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of Pujin Street.On December 16, 2019, Pujin Street was selected to be on the list of the third batch of intelligent healthy aging demonstration streets (townships).
