Xiangcheng Town, belonging to Laning County, Linyi City, Shandong Province, is located in the western part of Laning County, bordering Cangshan Economic Development Zone in the east, Laning Town, the wine capital, in the south, Shangyan Town in the west, and Chelime Town in the north, with an administrative area of 108.9 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, the household population of Xiangyan Town was 125,897. During the late Qing Dynasty, the territory belonged to the Southwest Township of Lanshan County, Linyi Prefecture; in 1993, it was renamed Xiangcheng Township; on August 13, 2011, Xingming Township was incorporated. As of June 2020, Xiangcheng Town has 59 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town's people's government is located in Dongcun. In 2019, Xiangcheng Town had 98 industrial enterprises, including 1 above scale, and 197 general stores or supermarkets with business area over 50 square meters.
