Luling County, belonging to Linyi City, Shandong Province, is located in the south of Shandong Province and the southwest of Linyi City. East and Linyi Luzhuang District and Tancheng County, Linyi City, border; southeast of Zhuangwu, the Great Wall, Mashan and Tancheng County; south of Nanqiao Town, Lanling Town, Changcheng Town and Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province, Pizhou City, adjacent; west of the next village, Lucheng, Xinxing, Lanling, and Zaozhuang neighboring; the north of the next village, the rims, the Dazhong village and Feixian County junction; northeastern mining pit, Zhongcun, Shenshan and Luozhuang District, depending on the. Lanling County was first established in the Spring and Autumn Period, is the earliest established county in Shandong Province, the beginning of the state of Lu sub chamber pavilion, 380 BC, was occupied by the state of Chu and first set up Lanling County Euphrasia. During the Anti-Japanese War, Lanling was a famous old revolutionary area. After the founding of New China, Lanling County was abolished, and on January 8, 2014, the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China agreed and approved the name change of Cangshan County to Lanling County. As of October 2022, Lancing County has 2 streets, 14 towns, and 1 township under its jurisdiction, with the county people's government stationed at the east section of Lancing Road.

On April 7, 2022, Lanling County was selected to be on the public list of Shandong's 2022 Demonstration Counties for the Promotion of High-standard Farmland throughout the County.
