Nanqiao Town, belonging to Lanying County, Linyi City, Shandong Province, is located in the south of Lanying County, neighboring Changcheng Town in the east, bordering with Sihou Town, Pizhou City, Jiangsu Province in the south, neighboring Lanying Town in the west, and Luzhu Town in the north, with an area of 85.2 square kilometers in the administrative area. As of the end of 2019, Nanqiao Town has a household population of 80,981.
In 1940, Nanqiao Sub-district, also known as "Seven Districts", was set up by the Anti-Japanese Democratic Government of Linyi County; in 1984, Nanqiao Commune was abolished and Nanqiao Township was set up; in 1996, Nanqiao Township was abolished and Nanqiao Township was set up. As of June 2020, Nanqiao Town has 30 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the town's people's government residing in Nanqiao Village.
