Zhongzhu Town, belonging to Sishui County, Jining City, Shandong Province, is located in the northwestern part of Sishui County, bordering Gaoyu Town in the east, Zhegou Town in the west and Ningyang County in the north, with an administrative area of 67.84 square kilometers. After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it was Xin'an Township; in 1995, the township was withdrawn and set up Zhongzhu Township; as of the end of 2018, Zhongzhu Township had a household population of 37,562; as of June 2020, Zhongzhu Township has 37 administrative villages under its jurisdiction; the township's people's government is stationed in Zhongzhu Sanchong. In 2011, the national and local tax revenue of Zhongzhu Town was 10,894,000 yuan, an increase of 36% over the previous year, of which 5,833,000 yuan was local financial revenue; in 2018, Zhongzhu Town had 60 industrial enterprises, 14 enterprises above the scale, and 86 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with business area of more than 50 square meters.
