Miaokuan Town, belonging to Sishui County, Jining City, Shandong Province, is located in the eastern part of Sishui County, east of Quanlin Town, south of Sizhang Town, west of Jihe Street, north of Dahuanggou Township and Xingcun Town across the Sishui River, with an administrative area of 114.06 square kilometers. After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it was Miaoguan District; in 1995, the township was abolished and set up as Miaoguan Township; as of the end of 2018, Miaoguan Township had a household population of 53,871; as of June 2020, Miaoguan Township was under the jurisdiction of 63 administrative villages; the township people's government was stationed in Miaoguan Village. In 2011, Miaokuan Town realized local financial income of 5,367,000 yuan, completing 155.4% of the annual task, with a per capita financial income of 102 yuan, an increase of 23% compared with the previous year; in 2018, Miaokuan Town had 52 industrial enterprises, 14 enterprises above the scale, and 41 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters or more.
