Caitang Town, belonging to Shan County, Heze City, Shandong Province, is located in the southeastern part of Shan County, the combination of Lu, Yu and Anhui, east of Zhuji Town, south of Dangshan County, Guanzhuangba Town, southwest of the Yellow River across the old road and Yucheng County, Zhangjizheng Town, west of Yanglou Town, the north of Longwangmiao Town, Zhenxing Town. The area is 84.43 square kilometers.In 2018, the household population was 58,420. In the spring of 1958, Caitang Township was established.In September of the same year, Dongfeng Commune was established.In January 1959, it was changed to Caitang Commune.In December 1983, Caitang Commune was abolished, and Caitang Township and Kongjie Township were established.In June 2020, Caitang Township had 26 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.
