The Shandong Juye Economic Development Zone is a provincial-level economic development zone approved by the provincial government. Located in southwestern Shandong Province at the junction of Shandong, Jiangsu, Henan, and Anhui provinces, it has a planned total area of 38.7 square kilometers and comprises “one zone and five parks”: the Juye Chemical Industry Park, the Juye County Port Industrial Park, the Juye New Economy Industrial Park, the Longgu Coal Mine Industrial Park, and the Wanfu Coal Mine Industrial Park.The Development Zone adheres to supply-side structural reform as its main focus, prioritizes high-quality development as its core objective, and leverages institutional and systemic innovation as a breakthrough point. It drives the zone to concentrate on its primary responsibilities—economic development, investment and talent attraction, technological innovation, and reform and opening-up—while vigorously implementing the strategy of strengthening the county through industry. By intensively pursuing investment promotion and project construction, the zone has preliminarily established a modern industrial system dominated by fine chemicals, intelligent equipment manufacturing, electronic information, biopharmaceuticals, and new materials.
