Kuiwen District, belongs to Weifang City, Shandong Province. It is located in the north and northeast of central Weifang, adjacent to Hanting District, bordered by the Bailang River in the west and Weicheng District, and adjoined by Fangzi District in the south and southeast, with a total area of 187.78 square kilometers. As of October 2022, Kuiwen District has 10 streets under its jurisdiction. According to the seventh census data, as of 00:00 on November 1, 2020, the resident population of Quiwen District was 475,103 people. Located in the middle of Shandong Peninsula, Kuiwen District has a warm temperate continental semi-humid monsoon climate with four distinct seasons. Sui Kaihuang sixteen years (596) set up Weizhou, Ming Hongwu ten years (1377) changed to Weixian, was bisected by the Bailang River, east of Dongguan, that is, today's Quiwen. Kuiwen has a long history, ancient statesman Yan Ying, scripture master Zheng Xuan, agronomist Jia Si Fo, painter and calligrapher Zhang Zeduan, as well as Kong Rong, Fan Zhongyan, Ouyang Xiu, Su Shi, Zheng Banqiao and so on, have all traveled here. In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was famous for "2,000 red furnaces, 3,000 smashing coppersmiths, 9,000 embroidery women and 100,000 looms", and was known as South Suzhou and North Weixian. In 2022, Quiwen District realized gross regional product of 37.773 billion yuan, of which, the added value of the second and third industries were completed 5.752 and 32.021 billion yuan, the proportion of the three industries is 0.00:15.23:84.77.
