Zhengcheng Town, belonging to Pingyi County, Linyi City, Shandong Province, is located in the southern part of Pingyi County, bordering Local Town in the east, neighboring Liangqiu Town, Feixian County in the southeast, connecting to Shanting District, Zaozhuang City in the south, Baiyan Town in the west, and Liyu Town in the north, with an administrative area of 160.96 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Zhengcheng Town had a household population of 75,866. In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), it was the Chongmu District of Feinan County; in 1985, 39 villages in the northwest were assigned to the newly established Shanyin Township; Zhengcheng withdrew the district and changed it into a town; in August 2011, Weizhuang Township was incorporated. As of June 2020, Zhengcheng Town has 7 communities and 30 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town's people's government is located in Zhengcheng Village. In 2019, Zhengcheng Town has 28 industrial enterprises, including 6 above scale, and 130 general stores or supermarkets with business area over 50 square meters. On November 10, 2021, it was recommended by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development as a 1 billion yuan town in 2021 for the national rural characteristic industry.
