Zhongcun Town, belonging to Pingyi County, Linyi City, Shandong Province, is located in the northern part of Pingyi County, bordering Baotai Town to the east of Mengshan Mountain, adjacent to Quanlin Town, Sishui County to the west, and connected to Wutai Town and Fangcheng Town of Xintai City to the northwest corner respectively, with an administrative area of 114.89 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Zhongcun Town had a household population of 89,171. During the Spring and Autumn Period, the realm belonged to Bianyi; in October, 1945, it belonged to Mengshan County District 1; in March, 1952, after the abolition of Mengshan County, it was Zhongcun Town, Pingyi County. As of June 2020, Zhongcun Town has 40 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town's people's government is located at 2087 Tongsheng Road. In 2019, Zhongcun Town has 286 industrial enterprises, of which 11 are above scale, and 137 general stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
