Tongshi Town, belonging to Pingyi County, Linyi City, Shandong Province, is located in the southeastern part of Pingyi County, bordering Local Town in the east, Zheng Town in the south, Liyu Town in the west, and Wenshui Town in the north, with an area of 157.24 square kilometers in administrative area. As of the end of 2019, Tongshi Town has a household population of 83,595. During the Qing Dynasty, the territory was divided into Feixian Mengyang She and Hot Spring She; in May 1986, it was changed to Tongshi Town; in December 2000, Zhangli Township was incorporated. As of June 2020, Tongshi Township has 46 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.
