Subian Town, belonging to Junan County, Linyi City, Shandong Province, is located in the south of Junan County, bordering Fangqian Town in the east, Zhuanggang Town in the southeast, Heilin Town, Ganyu County, Jiangsu Province in the south, Xianggou Township in the west, and Crossroad Street in the north, with an administrative area of 121.02 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, the household population of Xubian Town was 55,389. In January, 1930 (1941), the Republic of China (R.O.C.) established the district of Soo Bian; in December, 1994, it was changed to Soo Bian Town; in January, 2001, six villages, namely, Qingshuijian, Xujiahe, Chenjia Shimenjian, Kejia Shimenjian, Zhangjia Shimenjian, and Linjia Lianzipo of the township of Yianma merged into it. As of June 2020, the town of Xiubian has 12 communities and 4 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is located in Xiubian Community. In 2019, there are 84 industrial enterprises in the town of Xiubian, of which 8 are above scale, and there are 85 general stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
