Flood Slope Town, part of Junan County, Linyi City, Shandong Province, is located in the north of Junan County, bordering Zhonglou Town, Juxian County, Rizhao City, neighboring Wentong Town to the east, Fangqian Town to the southeast, Crossroads Street to the south, Feast Bin Town to the west, and Dadian Town to the northwest, with an administrative area of 151.13 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, the household population of Flood Town was 57,554. In September of the 31st year of the Republic of China (1942), Flooded Slope District was established; in April 1998, it was renamed Flooded Slope Town; in January 2001, 11 villages formerly belonging to Liugou Township and 8 villages formerly belonging to Steep Hill Township were incorporated into Flooded Slope. As of June 2020, Flooded Slope Township has 11 communities. In 2019, there were 49 industrial enterprises in Flooded Slope Township, of which 4 were above scale, and there were 82 general stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
