Wentong Town, part of Junan County, Linyi City, Shandong Province, is located in the northeastern part of Junan County, bordering Huangdun Town, Rizhao City, to the east, Pingshang Town, to the south, Flooding Slope Town, to the west, and Zhonglou Town to the north, with an administrative area of 114.35 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Wentong Town has a household population of 46,749. Prior to the 30th year of the Republic of China (1941), the area was under the jurisdiction of the 10th District of Ju County; on April 8, 1985, it was changed to Wentong Town. As of June 2020, Wentong Town has 10 communities. In 2019, there were 28 industrial enterprises in Wentong Town, including one above scale, and 68 general stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
