Dushan Town, belonging to Fushun County, Zigong City, Sichuan Province, is located in the southern part of Fushun County, neighboring Anxi Town in the east, Daguan Town, Nanxi County in the south, Pengmiao Town in the west and Yongnian Town in the north. The town people's government is 18 kilometers away from Fushun city. The total area of the administrative region is 73.23 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, the household population of Dushan Town was 41,072. In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to Dushan Regiment. In the twenty-fourth year of the Republic of China (1935), Doushan Town was established. In 1940, it was changed to Dushan Township; in 1958, the township was changed to a commune; in 1984, the commune was changed to a township; and in 1995, it was changed to Dushan Township. As of June 2020, Doushan Township has 2 communities and 10 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. The town people's government is located in Cat Mountain.
