In the machinery manufacturing sector, represented by companies such as Jiangyang Magnetic Materials, Chenghua Auto Parts, and Fuxing Power Hardware, nearly 20 enterprises have clustered here, forming an industrial system centered on high-performance permanent magnet ferrite materials, automotive parts, and power equipment.
Behind each small magnetic disc lies Jiangyang Magnetic Materials, a long-established enterprise in the new materials sector, with 40 years of unwavering research and innovation in permanent magnet ferrite production.
Continuous innovation has enhanced Jiangyang Magnetic Materials’ market competitiveness. In terms of product performance and production scale, its permanent magnet ferrite products rank among the top 10 in the country and hold the number one position in Southwest China.
Currently, these products are widely used in numerous vehicle models from renowned automotive manufacturers such as BMW, Volkswagen, SAIC, and Great Wall, earning widespread acclaim from partners.

In the consumer goods industry, represented by well-known enterprises such as Honggu Leather Goods and Meile Foods, more than 10 consumer goods manufacturers have gathered here, forming an industrial system centered on high-end leather goods, condiments, and pharmaceutical products.

Business Environment: Moving Forward
As the main industrial hub of the county, the Fushun Chenguang Economic Development Zone is home to 141 industrial enterprises, including 65 large-scale industrial enterprises. It has been successively approved as one of the province’s first “51025” parks, a provincial circular economy demonstration zone, and the province’s second batch of new industrialization demonstration bases.
In January 2019, it was approved by the provincial government as a provincial-level economic development zone with new materials and automotive parts as its leading industries. Currently, it has preliminarily formed a “one zone, multiple parks” structure centered on the economic development zone, with specialized industrial parks for textiles and apparel, agricultural product processing, and the wine industry developing in a complementary manner.

To better adapt to the development requirements of the park under new circumstances, and taking into comprehensive consideration regional carrying capacity and industrial layout, the zone is promoting the standardized construction of the chemical industry park and vigorously advancing the cross-river development of the Chenguang Economic and Technological Development Zone, with a focus on building industrial clusters for comprehensive processing and new chemical materials.
The cross-river development zone covers a planned area of 7.13 square kilometers and will include industrial park projects, a port-adjacent logistics base, and infrastructure development for the eastern section of the economic and technological development zone.
Among these, the industrial park project currently being prioritized includes standardized factory buildings, logistics warehouses, an industrial incubation center, supporting roads, stormwater and sewage networks, domestic sewage networks, and new water, electricity, and gas booster stations.
It is understood that upon completion of the entire project in the Cross-River Development Zone, the area will rely heavily on the Chenguang Chemical Research Institute to build a distinctive industrialization base for fluorine-silicon new materials that integrates manufacturing and application.

Currently, three enterprises in Fushun County—Junfeng Grain & Oil, Luoyuan Food, and Tongfarong—have been approved as provincial-level “Specialized, Refined, Unique, and Innovative” SMEs; seven enterprises—including Hengxinchang, Furong Packaging, and Fuxing Power Hardware—have been approved as technology-based SMEs;Jiangyang Magnetic Materials and Xi’ai Fluorine have been ranked among the “Top 10 Industrial Enterprises in Zigong City,” while Meile Food Company has been ranked among the “Top 20 Growth-Oriented Industrial Enterprises in Zigong City.”
The fact that so many enterprises have received these honors reflects the significant efforts, substantial resources, and tangible results Fushun County has achieved in supporting technological innovation among private enterprises.
Since June 2020, Fushun County has invited local entrepreneurs or business representatives every Friday to enjoy coffee, discuss challenges, and hear suggestions. In a relaxed and harmonious atmosphere, the county swiftly and effectively resolves the most pressing issues facing enterprises.
This is the “Government-Enterprise Coffee Gathering,” a regular platform for government-business communication established by Fushun County. County leaders attend every session, and over 200 enterprises have participated to date.

It is worth noting that the Sichuan Chuanbei Beer and Beverage Production Project is Fushun County’s first investment attraction project to benefit from the “signing-to-land-acquisition, land-acquisition-to-construction” reform. The project was officially signed on July 19, 2021, secured land in early March 2022, and officially broke ground on March 10.
