Tongshang Town, belonging to Shehong City, Suining City, Sichuan Province, is located in the northwestern part of Shehong City, bordering Fuxing Town in the east, Jinhua Town in the south, Xiangshan Town in the west, and Qiulin Town in Santai County and Republican Township in Yanting County in the north. The area is 47.36 square kilometers, with a household population of 19,450 as of the end of 2018. During the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Huide Township. In 1940, Tongshou Township was established.In 1958, the township was changed to a commune.In 1984, the commune was changed to a township.In 1992, Tongshou and Jintong Townships were merged to form Tongshou Township.
