Renlong Township, belonging to Pengxi County, Suining City, Sichuan Province, is located in the south of Pengxi County, connecting Huangni Township and Jinlong Township in the east, Sanfeng Township and Jinqiao Township in the south, Hesha Township of Funashan District in the west, and Gaosheng Township and Jixing Township in the north. The area is 101.65 square kilometers, with a household population of 28,945 as of the end of 2018.
In the early Qing Dynasty, Renlong Field was set up. In the Republic of China, it was changed to Renlong Township.In 1949, Renlong District was set up.In September 1992, the district was changed to a town.In August 2019, Huangni Township was abolished, and the administrative area it belonged to was transferred to the jurisdiction of Renlong Township. As of June 2020, Renlong Township has 3 communities and 16 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.
In 2018, Renlong Township had 5 industrial enterprises and 11 general stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
