Zhanjiang Town, belonging to Anju District, Suining City, Sichuan Province, is located in the western part of Anju District, connected to Center Town in the east, Baoshi Town in the south, Longmen Town in Lezhi County in the west, and Lotus Township and Buyun Township in the north. The area is 65.46 square kilometers, with a household population of 45,580 as of the end of 2018.
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the western district of Suining. In the Republic of China, Zhanjiang Township was set up.In 1951, it was changed to the fourth district of Suining County.In 1981, Zhanjiang District was set up.In 1985, the district was changed to an office.In 1992, it was changed to Zhanjiang Township.In August 2019, Lotus Township was abolished, and the administrative area it belonged to was transferred to the jurisdiction of Zhanjiang Township. As of June 2020, Zhanjiang Township has 3 communities and 27 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.
In 2018, Zhanjiang Town had 10 industrial enterprises and 7 general stores or supermarkets with business area over 50 square meters.
