Ximei Town, belonging to Anju District, Suining City, Sichuan Province, is located in the eastern part of Anju District, east of Laochi Township, south of Muxi Township and Majia Township, west of Yufeng Township and Sanjia Township, and north of Fubiao Township and Baosheng Township. The area is 110.83 square kilometers, with a household population of 61,143 as of the end of 2018.
In the Qing Dynasty, during the reign of Tongzhi, the town of Ximei was set up. In the Republic of China, it belonged to the fifth district.In 1951, Ximei Township was set up.In 1958, the township was changed to a commune.In 1984, the commune was changed to a township.In May 1992, the township was changed to a township.In August 2019, the township of Majiang was abolished, and the administrative area belonging to it was transferred to the jurisdiction of Ximei Township. As of June 2020, Ximei Town has 2 communities and 25 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.
In 2018, there were 50 industrial enterprises in Ximei Town, including 3 above scale, and 13 general stores or supermarkets with business area over 50 square meters.
