Zhuozhi County, a county under the jurisdiction of Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the central part of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the southern part of Ulanqab, at the southeastern foothills of the Yinshan Mountains on the Inner Mongolia Plateau, with a semi-arid continental climate, adjoining nine banners, counties, and districts (municipalities), with a total area of 3,119 square kilometers. As of October 2022, Zhuozi County has five towns and three townships under its jurisdiction. According to the seventh census data, as of 00:00 on November 1, 2020, the resident population of Zhuozi County was 85,648 people.
Zhuozhi County government resident Zhuozhishan Town, the 1930s before the "table mountain", is the northeast of the town shaped like a "table" of the mountain and the name, after the opening of the Pingsui (Jingbao) Railway, "table mountain". "In 1952, because of Longsheng County and Guangxi County renamed, approved by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Central People's Government, renamed Zhuozhi County, under the Jining Commissioner's Office; in 1954, Zhuozhi County to the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Pingdi Spring People's Government of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region; April 2, 1958, Zhuozhi County to the Ulanqab League (now Ulanqab City) jurisdiction.
The main attractions of Zhuozhi County include the Red Stone Cliff Temple, Jiulong Bay Tourist Area, and Linhu Gusai, etc. On July 29, 2020, Zhuozhi County was selected as part of the "Named List of National Hygienic Townships (County Cities) for the 2017-2019 Cycle".On March 24, 2022, Zhuozhi County was selected as part of the "The third batch of national regional seed breeding bases list".
In 2022, Zhuozhi County realized a regional gross domestic product (GDP) of 7.259 billion yuan, an increase of 4.2% year-on-year; general public budget revenue of 216 million yuan, an increase of 32.2% year-on-year; fixed-asset investment of 898 million yuan, an increase of 4.8% year-on-year; per capita disposable income of urban residents of 36,050 yuan; per capita disposable income of rural residents of 15,560 yuan.
