Zalantun City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, county-level city under the jurisdiction of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, administered by Hulunbeier City, is located in the eastern part of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, south of Hulunbeier City, is located in the middle of the Daxing'anling Mountains in the eastern foothills of the Songnen (Liao) Plain west of the mid-temperate continental monsoon climate, adjacent to the eight banners, counties, districts (cities), with a total area of 16,785 square kilometers.
